Friendly service and fun atmosphere. I had a chicken taco salad and my husband had a burger, both great. After lunch we walked upstairs to see the "set" and gift shop, cool memories watching the show when we were younger.

What a fun place!!!!! There are souvenirs, pictures and memorabilia from the show, and friendly people! We visited on a weekend and got a great seat at the bar. Very relaxing vibe and we enjoyed several beers. Beautiful location downtown near many places and other things to do as well.

Iconic Boston...Cheers is the classic T.v show. Busy tourist place, you will spend an hour or two the most. Great history and recommend you visit if in Boston.

Very good! We were traveling for work and really wanted to try it and they opened up the back section just for us since we had such a big group.

You have to stop In this place even if you’ve never seen the show. Cozy and bustling atmosphere and a great place to grab a drink and forget all your worries. There is an extended bar in the back and upstairs. The staff is friendly and the people are welcoming to visitors but then again everyone there looked like they were visitors. 🍻 CHEERS!!!

The drinks here are unique and goodAsk for the drink that numbs your mouth; it's off the menu but definitely a weird/ cool experienceAlso got the drink "we're all mad Here," it's a drink that's easy to drink and comes with an edible rice paper and dried pineapple :-)

Underwhelmed. Fine to be a tourist processing factory, but please replace replace robot staff with fresh people who give a care. Oh, and everywhere you look they are promoting swag. It's like having a drink in a gift shop. Exactly as expected, just thought it would be a nicer experience.

Why not go and stop by a place where everybody knows your name. It's seriously like stepping in to an iconic television show. I kept looking for Norm. It's a fully functioning bar, so obviously you can drink and get food. The service is great and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The prices are actually good too, not what I expected for a tourist spot. It actually felt very local at the time we went. Even if you never heard of the TV show Cheers, this place is worth the stop.

Historical mark, obviously. 😊 Only thing is we were unable to actually sit down and just have a drink. We were told we were going to have to order food in order to be seated. I thought that was weird. I'm from Dallas but if you're looking to take some cool pics and stop in to have a bite to eat, this is the place! Very cool vibe.

I love this place and stop here every time I am in Boston. It doesn’t look like the bar in show, but you won’t be disappointed. It is located by the Commons and is easy to find. There isn’t a better place to get a drink or grab a quick bite. The food is good and the staff is friendly.

Packed when we went, not even standing room, we couldn't see the name plates of the characters and where they sat. It is a replica or the cheers bare from the show. There are lots of pictures of the cast and interesting readings. It's a hit or miss with crowds.

This place was amazing! The theme song from the show plays at the entrance and gives the perfect mood setting! The food was delicious although a bit pricey. The staff was fun and the clientele makes you really feel like everyone knows your name!

Awesome place to eat. The Boston Clam chowder is the bomb! The menu design is neat in the way it's based off the show and its characters. Beautiful city with a great restaurant.

Had a couple of beers here. Cozy but crowded. The entryway features the Cheers theme song which is a really funny touch. They have some nice beers on tap; the bartender has excellent suggestions. The backroom doesn't really capture the Cheers feeling. There's a gift shop by the bathroom, but you can also buy the typical cheers glass and take it home.

Cannot begin to tell you how much my wife and I loved this place. Grew up with the show and that part is cool and all, but the staff were friendly, the food was very good, and the beer was super refreshing. I cannot recommend enough. Totally our favorite place that we visited in Boston.

Very different than the show, forgot about that. Had great sirloin burger, beer, and fries. I’m from missouri and the pickles ‘round these parts are boring and have little flavor. They call them sour or something. Just a heads up. Staff was friendly. Great gift shop.

Came here around Thanksgiving week with my gf and my mom and her bf and we had such a great time there. It's definitely a locals bar that is very lively. They had karaoke going on and the place was pretty busy.Service from the Bartender was quick and friendly and everyone was really cool and no we word vibes.Plenty of parking out front and they host a lot of events throughout the month.Definitely worth checking out!

Place with a lot of history. Cozy atmosphere as a typical American (sports) bar. Food is tasty, so is the beer. Even though Cheers is a tourist attraction, service food and ambience is quite good!

This is a cool bar in the heart of Boston. However It was smaller than expected and felt kind of touristy. You have to walk past the gift shop to see the “set” replica.

This place has the environment you get in the show. Stopped here because we are avid Cheers fans. Enjoyed some burgers and fries cooked perfectly. Will go back again!

The look outside of the pub was used on the TV program- however the inside was not. So really it's just a normal pub but it continuously rammed with hundreds of people coming in to the pub because the outside is famous. It seems to be too busy to actually enjoy a drink in there. Only worth visiting if you are a really big cheers fan.

If you loved Cheers then you'll love Cheers. Just know the set bar is upstairs. I didn't know this until after I drank and ate downstairs. The food was good and the beer was cold. ...but they didn't know my name.

Obviously had to make a stop in Cheers... While it looks nothing like the show, I loved the space. Downstairs in a great building. Quaint but fun atmosphere. Staff was great. Good Food. Loved all the show nostalgia.

I used to live close by and would have previously given five stars some ten years ago. However it’s much in need of a refurbish and This time the food was decidedly average out of the freezer so less marks. Great little pub. A tourist magnet but time to put some of the takings back in the business folks.

Even though we know that this is sort of a tourist trap we are such fans of the show we had a great time at Cheers. It was fun feeling the nostalgia, there is plenty of memorabilia. The food and drinks were good and surprisingly not overpriced compared to other bars we visited in the area. We ordered the nachos which were great. Our server was very nice. We didn't have to wait to get a table. We got there on a Friday around 11:30. By the time we left at 1pm it was packed.

One of the most popular tourist spots in Boston. Right across the street from Boston Public Garden and Boston Common on Beacon Street. It also has a nice gift shop for souvenirs

Questions & Answers

Haha, not unless people you know are already there

And everyone will know your name

No, the main (Beacon St) location is too small for the full-size bar like the show. But Cheers has another location in Feneuil Hall Marketplace, and *that* location *does* have the replica bar.

Just the usual carla

Actually, no. Mid 1960s I believe. It's name was the Bull and Finch inn.

Yes, they are.

Yes. They have a gift shop with mostly t shirts for sale.

Loved cheers they have the most gorgeous spiral staircase

If you like the show you will love it. Otherwise it is just a neat very busy bar.

From the short time I was there, I'd say yes!
